If you reached this page, you most likely received one of the gifts our congregation donated to the children’s floor at the local hospital. We just want to share with you our thoughts, prayers, and the “why” behind this donation…
Our Pastor and his family were blessed by other donors when their young son was hospitalized. It was a great encouragement to know that people were out there thinking of them. It was also a rich blessing to have something for their little guy to play with while stuck in bed for a few days. The illness and hospitalization was sudden so there wasn’t much preparation. The caring nurses and thoughtful donors made such an impact on his life during that short stay, and we wanted to keep that going. Although we don’t know if your visit is long or short, we do know that the Lord is always there. He sees every tear that falls. He knows you and the struggles you are dealing with. If you don’t know Him or believe this, we want to challenge you to seek Him out. We are praying He makes Himself known to you and helps you during this difficult time. If you do know Him, we want you to know that we are praying with you!
This is a sin cursed world.
Romans 3:23: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;”
We are all sinners.
Romans 5:12: “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:”
But there is hope.
Romans 5:8: “God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”
When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the penalty for our sin and now, salvation is a free gift from God to you
Romans 6:23b: “… but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
You don’t have to earn this gift, just receive it.
Romans 10:9-10: “That is thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.”
There’s a place in heaven for you – where there are no tears, no sickness, and no pain. We hope you trust in that.
Thank you for your time.
